1st Soccer game

Kynsley scoring a goal~I'm so PROUD of her!

Kynsley first game and she scored 2 goals. Well actually she scored 4, let me explain. The first time she scored, the ball was going out of bounds so she picked it up with her hands, put it back in front of the goal and kicked it in. So I'm not counting that one. The 2nd one she actually scored and I was so excited the picture was a blur of her head, I actually ran out onto the field and grabbed her and gave her hugs and high fives.(YUP, the overly excited "SOCCER MOM". The 3rd one was also a REAL goal and thats the first photo you see, I actually caught the moment. The 4th she kicked into the others teams goal. It was not all her fault, her friend was on the opposite team and she kicked the ball to Kynsley so she kicked it in. So in the end she scored 2 goals. We're so proud of her!!!

Soccer Video

I LOVE this video of Kynsley's first soccer game. Kynsley and her friend from school are over on the left hand side of the screen(talking ~ wonder where she gets that from) I'd have to say my favorite part is at the end. But as the game went on she did get better!!!

Tuesday

First day of Preschool

Kynsley is now attending part day Preschool on post. She is loving her teacher and all the friends she is making in her class. The first day we dropped her off I was so glad that Scottie was able to slip away from work for this moment. I knew he wouldn't miss it. Kynsley did a great job, walked in and sat down and started playing with a table top activity. Bye she said to us. After hugs and kisses, as soon as we walked out the door...the tears started to flow. Scottie wrapped his loving arms around me and said, I'm so proud of you, at least you made it out of the building.

Monday

I'll save one for Maggie

Many mornings in NC, Maggie would bring Kynsley pancakes from McDonalds. Since we've been back in Germany we've not been able to enjoy such a luxury. Before boarding the plane to head home Scottie went to grab McDonalds. He came back with a well known box, you should of seen the look on her face when she realized she was getting pancakes. To our surprise they do not offer maple syrup on their pancakes in Spain. The choices ~ Chocolate syrup or Carmel sauce. Scottie picked the Carmel sauce and let me tell you...they were YUMMY!!!!! She ate 2 pancakes and then put the lid back on and said, I'll save one for Maggie.

Family photos

Western Water Park,

We found a water park near by the hotel we stayed at. This had to be one of the best days of our vacation or as the Europeans call it, "our holiday". Kynsley LOVED the water slides and actually got very brave going down the slides. Scottie and Chad went down the Beast slide, Kristy and I just watched from below. They had a few shows and we were able to catch the diving show in the afternoon. I've not seen one of these shows since I was a little girl at Sea World. These divers were amazing. I'm glad we spent the day at the park, it was a great way to "cool" off and enjoy our time in Mallorca.

Thursday

A 2 hour Nightmare

The calm before the storm photo!!!

I had this great idea to take a boat tour of the island that we were staying on. This was the first time I had ever been out on a boat in the sea/ocean. That particular day of our departure you could tell the waters were a little choppy. Only about 10 minutes into the tour I told Scottie I wasn't feeling well. He assured me it was all in my head and I would be fine. The next thing I knew I was inside the smallest bathroom I'd ever seen, sweating, and sick. I came out of the bathroom, trying to find Scottie. He had taken Kynsley to the "basement" of the boat to see the fish through the glass walls. They were enjoying the trip.
The rest of the boat ride that's right the entire 2 hours, I was throwing up off the back of the boat. Just praying to God to get me off. My husband was right there to comfort me, keeping bottles of cold water on my neck and back. Kynsley loved the boat ride and actually fell asleep. Since Scottie was having to take care of me, a stranger helped us out and held Kynsley while she slept. I was just thankful to be back on dry land.
