Baby its Cold Outside
Area ponds are filled with the ice skaters and hockey players. I love the sites of everyone enjoying the different seasons and the activites that surround them. The trees are so pretty with the sparkling ice on them!

Christmas Market
The magic of a traditional German Christmas market attracts visitors from all over the world. At these festivals you can find all kinds of authentic German wood crafts, marionettes, candles, and toys. The aromas of hot chestnuts, grilled sausages and Gluwein. I got a chance to get my first mug of the famous hot mulled wine. I was so cold the heat from the mug warmed my hands but the taste reminded me of flavored "thera-flu" when I was a kid. We spent a few hours down in town walking around and I have to say my favorite part was the stable. Inside is where we found a few animals including a camel. Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus were also in there. Kristy and Chad met us down there and we all went to a local cafe to eat lunch. Poor Kynsley was so cold, so our day ended early since Kynsley and I couldn't take the cold!

Thursday
Our Christmas Portraits
This year since I was able to take our family Christmas portraits myself. With a chair sitting in the middle of the floor, and a HUGE stack of Nicholas Sparks books, I'd set the timer and run and place myself beside my family. We thought they turned out really well! I'm so proud of my beautiful family! I hope all enjoy seeing our Christmas photos!

Wednesday
Counting down the days til Christmas!
Kynsley is getting more excited about all the Christmas cheer around her! We've had to move all of her gifts behind the tree, and now she will carry our around! She is getting a lil' sneaky! I love her snowflake outfit that Granny Jo and Papa Clip bought her as a going back to Germany gift..its so warm and it makes me want to cuddle up next to her!

Monday
527th Co. Christmas Party
The Company Christmas party was held at a resturant in Nurenberg. The place was really pretty but our waitress was not filled with the Christmas Cheer(if you know what I mean). We enjoyed a delicious supper!! Santa showed up to visit with all the children. Kynsley was a little nervous we could tell, she sat right on his lap and the tears just started to flow. She never cried out or even asked to get up...she said, "thank you ho ho" when he handed her an ornament and a bag full of candy! Her dress was a birthday gift from Pa Penney and Grandma Laurie, she was so pretty all dressed up! We played a few games and we went home with many goodies given to us by Sgt. Rouse and his family! We had a wonderful time!

a Happy Ending...loved my apple filled pastry with ice cream!

Saturday
Baa, Oink, Cluck, Moo...Little Kynsley is turning two!
We celebrated Kynsley's birthday with a Down on the Farm theme this year. With pig the tail on the pig, coloring sheets, and watching the DvD,"Charlottes Web", I believe all the kids had a great time!
I told all the guest to come with an appetite as BIG as the Farm and they did. We ate veggies from Old MacDonalds farm, pigs in a blanket, chicken nuggets, and meatballs. Along with Potato salad(thanks Kristy), baked beans, deviled eggs, and haystacks! I was full at the end of the night!
Kynsley loves all of her presents and has enjoyed getting to play with all of her new things. Brandy got Kynsley the overalls as a birthday gift while we were in Florida, so I thought they were so cute for her to dress up like a lil' farmer!
