Daddy's dogtags

Kynsley found a new toy while daddy was home. His dogtags! She loved the loud sound that they made and how cold they felt on her sore gums! She even feel asleep holding them on her daddy's chest! I love this picture of them. When Scottie woke up he said he missed having her cuddle up to him like that!

Whistle while you work.....

Even though Scottie thought he was coming home for vacation we put him to work while he was here! My dad enjoyed having the extra "man" hands around the house and it was good "bonding" time for them. Thats what I said to Scott, and he informed me that he didn't need any more "bonding" time with my dad that they were already "tight" Anyways, we help paint one of the rooms at my parents house and then Scottie and my dad built a new step at my grandparents house! Scott also helped out with mowing the yards! I enjoyed seeing him actually do Mans work living in an apartment we haven't gotten the chance to "get our hands dirty" Scottie told me that none of it was really work that he enjoyed all of it!

Scavenger Hunt

Its taken me a long time to put these on here! These were taken during our scavenger hunt the weekend of our wedding! Scottie and I had so much with our friends at Old Town. We used cameras to find items that related to Scottie or I and then a few fun pics!

Back Porch Singing

Good stuff!!

Sittin' on the Back porch! Last Wednesday night we had a "singing" at church. Michael invited anyone to share in music. Everyone brought their chairs and relax! Afterwards we ate watermelon! I mean, I couldn't imagine Pine Hill having a gathering without food!




I enjoyed hearing everyone sing but I always love to hear my mama and daddy sing. It took mama a long time to get daddy to sing out in public with her, but I'm glad that he finally gave in. There's a verse that says, "Make a Joyful noise unto the Lord" I know that God is smiling down on my parents when they use their gift that He has blessed them with.


We had variety of music shared, from the little kids singing "Jesus Loves Me" to Praise and Worship! I think everyone enjoyed the evening of fellowship and time of worship!

Kynsley is getting a little spoiled rotten. Everyone keeps asking me what I'm going to do when I get to Germany...I don't know! I keep joking with them that I'm taking my parents with me. Scott called and asked if he should put them down as dependents! I know they are going to miss her so much!

Play date

This past Monday night, I went over to visit with De and David. I've missed them so much! Victoria and Kynsley had a little playdate! Victoria kept bringing out more toys for Kynsley to play with. The girls had lots of fun!

My Aunt Rose Edna

Rose Edna Eggers is Kynsleys only Great, great, great that I know of. She is her aunt! Rose Edna is my daddy's, mother's, mother's, baby sister. Even though she is not Kynsley's oldest living relative, I thought it was cool to have great, great, great!

Mountain City, TN

We traveled to Mountain City, Tennesse last weekend to a Fish fry! Daddy, Mama, Lyric, Malachi, Kynsley and I went. We enjoyed sitting under the shade trees and talking with some of our "kin folk". Bob and Janet were the only people I knew! So I mainly talked with them!
