The Harris Chicken Stew

I love this time of year, warm fires, colors of the leaves, and warm stews. Kara and Brian had their annual Chicken Stew over the weekend. I love spending time with my friends. We as always had many laughs! Thank you two for having me over and thanks to everyone for the FUN night! I'm so thankful for these girls and B. R. A. D. for the memories of the past 20 some years!

Just an update...

Scottie is doing well and looking forward to getting to the states for R & R. I'm so giddy for his arrival and we've got a few trips planned to spend family time together. Please pray as he will be traveling soon!! Enjoy the photos he sent to me and just keep praying!

Where Dreams Come True

As a "THANK YOU" for their love and support over the last year I treated the Army Wives to a day at Disney World. At times I'm not sure what I would do without these girls in my life. We had a magical time although we had a few tears here and there(we were missing our soldiers). We arrived at 9am and left around 11pm. So we were exhausted. I was able to get in touch with Brandy B. and she came out from her office for a quick chat and HUGS! Thank you Brandy!!
Brandy's Disney dream was to see Stitch, as he came out to greet us he brought her a flower...the tears started to flow! How magical that he picked her out of all of us standing there. We were able to go over to Epcot and have our photo taken in front of Germany in the World Showcase. That was my dream since thats the place that brought us all together in the first place. Megan and Kristy wanted to see Cinderella's castle. We were able to see it early in the morning and then later lite up by the Wishes Firework show. I believe everyone of us had a wonderful time and the pixie dust still lives on!

Thinking of you~

Rock ' N Roller Coaster

I LOVE this photo~although everyone wasn't too happy with me, Kristy and I bought it anyways! Who could pass up a memory like this. As you can tell, I was the only one in the group that ever been on the ride. The coaster accelerates from 0 to 57 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds. So the rush feels like...well you can see by the look on their faces what it feels like!!

Our Magical Tees...

I had the idea to get matching tees for our Disney trip! We then decorated the backs to represent and show love to our soldier.
"Who needs Prince Charming? When you're in LOVE with a SOLIDER"!! Cute huh?
We got lots of looks and enjoyed watching the passing guest try to read our shirts as they walked past us.
I felt like a Disney Tourist!

Ladies Night Out

One night in Jacksonville, Brandy had planned for us to have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and go out on the town! We ate WAY too much but saved room for Cheesecake. Later we went to a local bar~Brandy knew almost everyone there~they treated us Army Wives with open arms. Even when we got up on stage and completely embarrassed ourselves by singing Bon Jovi's, Living on a Prayer. It was horrible but I had a Blast! The night was filled with tons of laughter, and Kristy enjoyed her "PJ". Thank you Brandy and everyone at AJ's for a GREAT LADIES NIGHT OUT!!!
