Diggin' for Worms

Kyle has always loved diggin' for worms in Grandpas garden when he goes to visit. So Kynsley got in on the tradition. I guess the first day they dug they found a worm, Kynsley picks it up and then breaks it into! They both looked so cute digging with Grandpa and I know he enjoyed the time with his two Great Grandkids!

Surf & Turf night

Grandpa & Grandma went way overboard with Surf & Turf night. We all had a great time hanging out in the back yard while Grandpa grilled the steaks. Everything was so YUMMY! Kevin and Kynsley spent time together making their favorite dessert(root beer floats) We all gathered together to get a photo of the whole family. It turned out so good we had to have it blown up the next day so Grandma could hang it up in her house! All I have to say is that I married into a Beautiful family...inside and out!!

Womens Banquet

For many years our church holds a Womens Banquet. Each lady decorates a table in any way she wishes. The night was very successful this year. The christian comedian from Charlotte kept us all laughing. And the salads were yummy. Everyone was joking that they couldn't figure out which table was mine(hint:the 8 x 10 photo of Scottie in his uniform). There were many different themes around the fellowship hall. I have to say a BIG thank you to Melissa for selling my tickets for me and also to the Army Recruiting office for helping me with my party favors. My table was decorated with camo wrapped boxes that held a pair of Scotties combat boots which I used as a vase and filled with flowers. Another box held my build a bear that Scottie made
before deploying. I even found Camo Hersey's kisses for each of my guest!

Mothers Day tradition

The Mothers Day hat made it in our luggage from Germany. Once again Kynsley tried on our Mothers Day hat. It was cute watching her play around with it and trying it on, "all my myself", " I do it". She is so beautiful!

Saturday

The Starbuck wedding

Tie a ribbon 'round the old oak tree

Tradition has it that when you tie a yellow ribbon around your tree you are welcoming a loved one home. We tied a yellow ribbon around the tree in our front yard as we eagerly wait from Scottie's "homecoming".

Tuesday

its Springtime

We spent the afternoon at Tinas house. Kynsley loved running around her backyard and we even spotted a few butterflies in her flowers.
