One of my all time favorite books as a child; The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I bought the movie and the book for Kynsley. Her Aunt Donna got her a onesie to match! She loves holding books, I hope some day she'll have the passion to read!
Kynsley is amazing us more and more everyday. She has been holding her own bottle for a few weeks now. She doesn't like being cradled like a baby. When she's tired she wants to be put down in her crib without being held. She thinks shes a big girl. She is growing so fast!
Tiring...well for Kynsley it is. She was playing with her Baby Einstein book from Pam and David and she just fell asleep on it. I had to capture the moment with a photo. She has been doing that alot lately. She'll be laughing and playing and then she just falls asleep!
I'm sure if you know us, you know we were so excited to celebrate Kynsley's First Easter! We were so happy to see the Easter Bunny had came to see our little girl! She had a blue and cream colored basket covered with little Daisies. The basket was filled with glitter eggs and of course, camo eggs! So she got a little bit of both of us in the basket. She also got new paccies, and a big Pink Duck. She was so adorable in her little white outfit from her Pa and Grandma Penney it had little yellow flowers on it and it also had an Easter Bonnet to match!
Scott, Kynsley, and I went to SeaWorld for Easter Sunrise Service. We enjoyed services held by Z 88.3 along with almost 5,000 other people in Central Florida. Brian Litrell, ex-BackStreet Boy,gave his testimony and performed a song. Actor, Kirk Cameron spoke. We loved our Easter, even though I had to go to work, Scottie and Kynsley had a daddy/daughter day! We hope all of you had a wonderful Easter, filled with lots of love and Chocolate Bunnies!
A day in the sun. We brought Kynsley a blanket and umberella to the beach. She played in the sand and then tried to eat it. We had a great time at the beach.
I came home from work on March, 26, to a dark house. Candles were flickering all around our living room and colored paper hearts were inscribed, "Will You" I made my way into the bedroom to find rose petals on the bed and one heart dangling with, "Marry Me" I turned around to find Scott with Kynsley in his arms, and he asked me to Marry Him! YEAH!! June 17 is the big day!
We took Kynsley down to the pool today, she is way too cute in her little swimsuit! We didn't get to put her all the way in the water, still a little bit too cold. But we had a good time relaxing in the warm sun!
We enjoy our nightly routine with Kynsley. A warm bath, lovies with lotion, getting her hair brushed, and finally reading her a story! Sweet dreams Baby girl!
Kynsley was laying in her crib and she kept covering her face up....then she would pull it off and she would laugh at me....She has discovered how to play Peek-A-Boo!
I love having a little girl, I'm known as Miss. Priss in my family. I'm working on Miss. Priss Jr.. She is too cute. I know she must get so tired of us taking her picture. Its so hard to believe that she is 3 months old today. She is growing and changing so much. I'm so blessed, and tickled pink to have her in my life!
All 3 grandkids spent the night with Papa and Granny last Saturday night, UNC-Tarheels beat Duke in Basketball, UNC-Tarheel Womens WON the ACC-Basketball tournament and 72 hours of Andy! Papa Donnie said, "It was the best weekend ever!"
Kynsley loved spending time with Papa Donnie and Granny Patty, the middle picture is at Malachi's wrestling match. Mama was holding her and she was laughing at my daddy. She has the cutest laugh ever.
Kynsley visiting with her great-granny Jo and great-papa Clip. Granny Jo actually gave Kynsley a little taste of her Pepsi...and she liked it! Go figure!
Kynsley and I got to spend lots of time with the fam while we were in NC last weekend Its very rare that we are all together at the same time. I know my parents were extremely happy to have all 3 grandkids together.
My mamas friend Melissa, brought Kynsley a homemade scarf. She looked so adorable all buddled up! But when we'd cover her up with a blanket to carry her out in the cold she would get upset...she really is a Sunshine Girl!
Kynsley already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. He is so in love! I enjoy watching him with her! When Scottie picked us up from the airport, he was all smiles...and so was Kynsley. When he spoke to her she started giggling!
I'm a outgoing, country gal! I love the spending time with my amazing husband and beautiful daughter, which the Lord has blessed me with. I love sitting around a board game or a game of cards with family and friends!
