We're so Thankful
Grandpa & Grandma Penney sent Kynsley the cutest Thanksgiving outfit. She even had a Turkey hairbow to match it. She is posing beside our Thankful tree. Yes I know it looks very similar to a Christmas tree but its not. We were able to get a few people to tell us what they were thankful for this year. We wrote down their blessings on leaves/acrons and decorated our tree along wtih pumpkins and scarecrows.

Little Red Riding Hood
For pre-school the kids had to dress up as a story book character. Along with wearing a costume they had to bring in the book to tell about who they were. Granny Jo, Granny Patty, and Aunt Joan went shopping for us in the states and found the perfect character. Although Kynsley called herself, Miss Hiding Hood she was the cutest one I'd ever seen.
Thursday
The coldest Halloween...EVER
We met up with the Ellis family and took the girls trick or treating. We went around post and the girls got a little candy. Mama had sent Kynsley the cutest costume. Sunshine Bear from the Carebears...needless to say, she was warm. Unlike the rest of us. Her favorite part of the costume is that she had a heart on her bottom, she thought that was the funniest thing she'd ever seen. Thanks Granny Patty for the cute and warm costume.
HOBO party
Our church hosted a HOBO party for Halloween. We got all dressed up and enjoyed in the festivites. The kids enjoyed a hay ride and carnival type games. Homemade HOBO stew kept us warm and the HUGE fire was used for roasting hotdogs and marshmellows. I was surprised to hear the I won the Best Dressed in the Womens category. I didn't even get a photo of myself...I was so surprised I won!!!
Tuesday
Military Police Ball
Our 1st Military Ball and I was so excited I forgot my dress. Yup, leave it to the pregnant forgetful one. About 30 minutes down the road Scottie realized that I didn't grab my dress. So we had to turn around and go back and get it. The Ball was located about 2 hours north of our post. Needless to say we did make it to the hotel in time and to the ball. The night was full of speeches and traditions. And at the end of the night Scottie and I shared a few dances. It had been so long since we've danced. But the best entertainment was watching Scottie and his fellow MPs dance.
