Instead of the traditional Unity Candle we had a "sand ceremony" Once the individual containers of sand are poured into one container of sand the two become One. Never again can the individual grains of sand become seperated! Just as our marriage. We're going to top the sand with the seashells from our wedding cake. The glass vase will be placed in our home as a constant reminder of our love and that God brought us together!
