Visting the Jewells

We couldn't wait for Baby Mason to come home, we were just too excited! So we went and visited the Jewells at the hospital. Everyone was doing wonderful and Kim looked so great! We're all so thankful that everything went so well and both baby and mommie are doing well!

I miss Mayberry!

One of my best friends from Orlando, FL came to visit this past weekend! She is always singing the Rascal Flatts song to me, " I Miss Mayberry". So I took her downtown so she could see the "real" Mayberry!
She couldn't pass through town without stirrin' up some trouble! Just like a city girl!

Mommies Lil' Helper

My girlfriends at Disney joked that all my cooking would stop once I had a baby! Well, girls, just to let you know...I have a lil' helper! I'm still cooking with a baby on my hip!

Kynsley's 1st Halloween

Kynsley's first Halloween. I found this adorable bumble bee costume for her to wear. She was so cute! So I dressed up as her flower! Papa Don drove us around to friends and family homes and Kynsley had a bag full of candy by the end of the night. She also got a cute stuffed animal and a book! We're already planning next year, and hopefully daddy will be with us!

She even had a lil' stinger on her bottom!

Ashlynn was a spooky witch and Ryan was Dracula. I couldn't get over Ashlynn...she didn't even look like herself!

Pumpkins

We bought the Nightmare Before Christmas onsie long before we even thought about having a baby! I was so excited for Kynsley to get to wear it! I even had a matching Sally shirt! Kynsley loved going to the Pumpkin Patch! She even picked out the two pumpkins we bought!




Since Scottie is in Germany, I had to carve the pumpkins by myself this year. I carved Kynsley's monogram! Just because it was her first Halloween!

Halloween Carnival

We went to a local elementary school for a Halloween Carnival. I dressed Kynsley up as a lil' Kitty Cat! They had a costume contest...and Chicken Little won...it was too cute!

Kynsley's 1st Haircut

Kynsley had her first haircut this past week! Sandy has been cutting my hair since I was a lil' girl. so it was just perfect that she was the first to cut Kynsley's!

Weekend Retreat

What a great weekend! We had lots of fun! Thanks to those who made the weekend possible. Michael and Daddy(Don), for sharing devotions. All the ladies who helped in the kitchen. The meals were yummy! And Kim for getting it all together! We had a wonderful time! I pray that we, will not be afraid to stand up for what we know is right, as a church, and as believers of Jesus Christ!

a beautiful fall day

Our church spent the weekend at Quaker Lake. Although I have many memories there, this past weekend was one of my favorites. Growing up and getting to go on these weekend retreats has always been a blast, but this year I got to take my daughter. Mama, Lyric, Kynsley and I shared a cabin. What a great weekend!
