Maryland Crabs

I wasn't allowed to leave Maryland without getting a taste of the FAMOUS Maryland Crabs. Kristy took us to her favorite place...P. G. N. (and what does that stand for again?)
Anyways, I'm not one who enjoys "working" for my food! So I ordered the crab cakes instead. But after I finished eating, Kristy taught me how to "pick a crab". I was doing just fine until I discovered the "mustard" of the crab. Everyone almost got a second look at my crab cakes! I was so grossed out I couldn't even eat the crab that I was picking. So all the photos of us laughing, that is what was so funny I started gagging...and you know me the quiet one, so NOBODY was looking at us in the restaurant!

Wednesday

Ocean City, Maryland

Kristy's parents invited us to come meet them at the beach! Kynsley loves playing in the sand, I love helping her build sand castles. We attempted to play in the ocean...the first wave that we tried to jump in knocked me flat on my back. Good thing Kynsley had on her life suit. Overall we had a wonderful time at the beach!

Mommie Time

Kamryn Loves her mommie, Kristy is such a wonderful mother. I loved watching her cuddle up to her and make her laugh!

Love those DOTS!

Headed to the Boardwalk

The place we stayed had a beautiful atrium with a fish pond, birds, and a cafe. We used the "photo" moment to capture us girls before we left for the Ocean City famous Boardwalk!

Our visit to Maryland!

Kynsley and I have been traveling so much this summer. One trip we've had planned for 9 months now was to drive up to Baltimore, Maryland and meet our newly arrived God daughter. Kamryn Grace Ellis. She is such a beautiful baby. Her parents are our best friends in Germany, her daddy, Chad is with Scottie and Kristy is at home with her family in Maryland.

Us 4 girls just LOVED being together and it was nice having someone around that "understood" my life right now. I didn't want to leave her, I tried to bring them both back with me to NC, but it didn't happen. I'm so thankful that God has given Scottie and I a family like the Ellis' to have in our lives!

Tuesday

White Lake

Just a few photos of our trip to the lake this year! Kynsley and Mason put on a show for everyone...they renamed the lady bug ride the "LOVE BUGS". They had fun playing in the sand and water.

CONGRATS SGT.

Scottie has been working REALLY hard to get his promotion....he will be pinned at the first of August! I'm so SUPER proud of him! Can you find Scottie in the last photo?
