Sunday

its beginning to look alot like Christmas....

All 3 of us were so excited to start getting the Christmas decorations up. Scottie and I started a tradition a few years ago, when the Christmas tree gets put up we get to open our first present for the holiday season....a new ornament. Something that represents the past year. Our tree looks beautiful full of ornaments over the last few years, and lots of Disney characters....we even added a German pickle! We also added 2 new trees...one in Kynsley's room filled with all kinds of characters and many many fruitloops! The other in our room, decorated to match our room decor all the ornaments in Red & White

Baking.....

While daddy put the tree up, Kynsley and Mommie baked Christmas Cookies...daddy is a cookie expert and told us only to leave them in for 8 mins....he was right...they were perfect! Even the ones that had little teeth marks from where Kynsley took a little taste before they went into the oven!

Saturday

getting ready for the BIG day....

We had a big Thanksgiving this year. We invited all the single soldiers from Scotties squad over. With a 25 pound turkey in the oven, Homemade Chocolate Pecan Pie & all the yummy side items I believe they were all "stuffed" when they left. I enjoyed our time together as a "family". There are so many things that we have this year to be Thankful for!

after a long day...

Our friends Chad & Kristy were such a huge help in getting everything ready for this special day. They are such great friends and we're "thankful" for them!

527th MP 2nd PLT Thanksgiving dinner

Our Platoon all got together the night before Thanksgiving to celebrate together.

Thursday

yes...we really have to pay!

50 Euro cent to use this public restroom at the Bahnhof(train station). You have to insert the money into the machine on the outside of the door. Once the money is in, the door unlocks....so if you really have to go...you better hope you have correct change! Not all places charge, many resturants are free to customers. But most other publice places you have to pay including gas stations. Maybe if they did this in America people would respect it more and keep it clean!

Tuesday

Indian head band

I've been trying to do a few coloring sheets and crafts with Kynsley in the mornings. Yesterday we made an Indian head band. She surprised her daddy when he came home from work with a big.."ta da".

Monday
